The first employee and president of online marketplace eBay, Skoll is worth a reported $3.7 billion and has taken those enormous resources to try to deal with some of the world’s drastic problems.  From his own $600 million philanthropy called the Skoll Foundation to his film company, Participant Productions, he has led by example.  In the process, he has become one of the most highly respected social entrepreneurs of our time.
