Sipping on a Starbuck’s Frappuccino, Ocean’s Thirteen producer Jerry Weintraub doesn’t look the part of a 69-year-old executive who has been there and done that. In fact, from the outside in, he’s got the energy, drive, chutzpah, and fashion sense of a man half his age. He is approachable by choice, a quality he embraces and that has not only served him in his drive to succeed in showbiz, but also in his support of charitable organizations. “We are in a position to make a real difference”, says Weintraub, who speaks openly about the importance of charity work, his early days with Frank Sinatra and Bob Dylan, his father, and the importance of quality friends.
