Peter S. Kalikow and Bruce Ratner are set to receive the Museum of Jewish Heritage- A Living Memorial to the Holocaust's annual Heritage Award in April. The two real estate developers were instrumental in building the Museum's Robert M. Morgenthau Wing, a place for classes and lectures, adding an educational component to the exhibits found in the Museum. Kalikow and Ratner now join the ranks of past honorees including, Lifestyles profilees New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Governor Eliot Spitzer, and Howard J. Rubenstein. The two men are Museum trustees, building committee co-chairs, and Kalikow helped found the Museum. While the two men came from different backgrounds, they share a passion and vision for the future of the Museum.
