Murray & Elaine Galinson

Next month the Jewish Founders Network welcomes a new chairman, Murray Galinson. Along with his wife Elaine, the La Jolla, California, businessman has a long history of support for his community. Growing up in Minneapolis, both their families instilled in them the importance of philanthropy, and today they are passing the baton on to their three children who are all involved with the Galinson Family Foundation. Along with an interest in politics, Murray has gone through many career changes: lawyer to law professor to banker to philanthropist.  Elaine has worked for the Museum of Photographic Arts in San Diego, in politics and with the Jewish Community Foundation, amongst many others. The list of all the organizations and causes the Galinsons have lent their time and money to, is vast, as is their commitment to and passion for what they support.
